Previously on Unworthy Meat, we spent time in the market. Basil bought spell components. We talked to the castellan who had a problem with local bandits (The Fox with Feathers). We filled our wineskins. On our way out we got a message from the Crippler (via crow) to be wary of the curate (blue-eyed member of the church). Basil was made sick trying to prepare spells (as the gods tried to banish the chaos from him). We had a plan to draw in the bandits with boasts of our treasures, which didn’t work, but a horse with a dead rider passes through and we tracked it back to Ugg the Ogre, who Linus ensorcelled to be our friend. In the camp we found their alchemical concoction (grunge) that we tipped over so it could no longer be used.
