Previously on Unworthy Meat, we were so close to the keep, but we had been stalked by bugbears. We thought it would be a fight, but we were open to negotiation, specifically to fight their enemies the gnolls. While Cadence bought time, Linus fashioned a strong brew that would scare off the gnolls (a miraculous feat since they are afraid of nothing).
Outside of town, we met the town guards and the unfriendly corporal Kazimere, and departed Jerislav and Svetlan, as well as their men-at-arms Hugo and Koran. In town Cadence met a new mentor, Basil prayed for power but the presence of chaos defiled the area around him and couldn’t haggle at market. We learned the priestess has also been branded by the symbol of chaos. Brynn got paid by Svetlana and Jerislav. Cadence crafted a scroll of eldritch darts for Linus to learn from.
There was a play going on, everyone was dancing and jocular. People we met: Castellan Eogan the Red, the Scribe, and the cleric Cyrica Wozlany.
