We played three games from Playing Nature's Year: Ramble in the New-mown Hay, The Bending of the Bow, and The Holly and the Ivy (for Summer, Autumn, and Winter). The were introspective and delightful. What a perfect way to start Go Play NW!
Playtesing Bloomfall, a game where students discover that their mysterious boarding school houses portals to a magical, verdant world known only as The Elsewhere! Bloomfall is a TTRPG commissioned by the National Academy of Sciences outreach and engagement group, LabX. Its primary goal is to address the phenomenon of Plant Blindness—a human tendency to overlook or underappreciate the importance of plants in our world.
