Three cars crashed last night around 9pm off Hwy 54 outside of Robinson, all drivers claimed fatigue. Two in nearby hospital, one wasn’t injured too bad, lives a town over. Were all passing through, crashed just before reaching bridge.
These crashes have been happening frequently, all around the same time, close to the bridge.

Douglas River, old stone arch bridge, slightly damaged from most recent crash. Has some runes carved on the side facing the town, wards against evil spirit

David Delano takes Stasia to see the bridge. David (40s) & wife Christina moved here a few years ago after adopting their daughter (Nika, Russian), fans of the festival, have a house band, retired Boeing engineer
People seem to be afraid of being outdoors after 9pm in general
Tanner’s End Chapel, bells at 9pm makes everyone sleepy, creepy children’s song “the night is nigh and she draws near.” Fatigue continues until dawn. Saw an adult entering the back way right before the bells?
Creepy girl with bloodshot eyes, made of shadows, 1800s period clothing, black curved fingernails. More than one shade! Jessica saw someone who matches the description of one of the mysterious murders.
Shades can harm anybody who is awake after 9pm.
The shade touched Mordecai, as if probing? Left marks on his shoulder. Did not inflict harm.
The shade passed through Jessica, caused magical harm, very cold.
A long shadow?
Mysterious deaths from 4 years: ritualistic murders. People were bound at wrists and ankles, some died of fear, bodies showed signs of frostbite, knife wounds. Match descriptions of old Russian folklore, boogeymen. Happened shortly after David moved here. All deaths were neighbors/living near the Delanos.
A supernatural entity murdered these people and raised them as shades, who now haunt the town.
Kenny, 20-something roadie, passed out working in tent at 9pm, has marks on his shoulders.
George, other roadie, hasn’t shown up for work. Signs of a fight near the tent, gouges in the ground (like a scythe). Dragged George outside of town, to the south towards the mountains. Looks like someone performed the same rituals as had been done 4 years ago.
Theories:
1. Delanos adopted evil Russian folk spirit, and now have to sacrifice to it.
2. Delanos put up wards to protect the town, which causes the sleep.
3. 1800s shade is a victim of the past, brought with Nika?
4. Nika transforms into evil 1800s shade at night.
5. Delanos came to small town to try to minimize damage.
6. Delanos came to this town because they knew about the runes.
