So much fun solving eldritch mysteries with everyone yesterday!
Some of my favourite bits:
- The Creepy Reveals
- The father of the maggots
- The O-faced-mouth-man on the road
- “They’re gathering.”
- A flash of white suit in the moonlight
- The flies clustering over the crack in the top of the pyramid
- Josephine clinging to Dante.
- Iris making light of marching around in the jungle as, “It’s just fieldwork.”
- Francois refusing to touch the dead Kharisiri
- Dylan’s rp of Colby’s prejudice towards rural folk
- Colby’s reaction to his claustrophobia
- Someone, I think Amos, informing Meeks that he’d “be safe with us.”
- Josephine “The movie my father and I were planning,” and, in lights, “The Father of Maggots, starring Josephine Riley”
- Iris giving Edward her gold bracelet for protection.
- Iris and Edward’s joint exclamations of ‘children’ and ‘Amos.’
- Meeks – and his accent!
- Matt’s passionate desire to accrue mythos knowledge.
- That the last thing Edward got to see was the scarlet flower in Iris’ hair.
- Amos appearing on the shores of Lake Titicaca to interrupt Iris and Edward’s romantic moment. (Again.)
- Edward dying so dramatically! Ahhhh! One of my favourite character death’s of all time.
- Josephine popping on that mask.
- Iris pumping Larkin full of lead.
- Francois repeated attempts, and failures, to take photos.
- Francois and Meeks’ connection / booze-sharing.
- Colby’s horrific but awesome sloooow decapitation of road-Kharisiri – and toting it in its own hat.
- We solved the mystery and folks are safe!!!
