Malik has been sending the team on a number of missions, and everyone’s starting to suspect that these aren’t official missions. Lots of abandoned buildings, locals with no memory of strange happenings, cold cases.
The Circles (1/29/2020)
Malik and Mordecai are recovering from injuries sustained in the last mission. Malik is suspicious that Jessica knows more than she’s sharing, shares with the others that she did in fact offer the spider doctor lady a job in CISRA. After a comment about how it’s not right to give “monsters the keys to the city,” Stasia takes it personally and storms out.
The Quiet (1/15/2020)
Introducing…Pancake Special! Everyone’s called into Jean McCleud’s office to meet the new addition to our team. Maroon plaid suit, short red hair, sparkly fingernails, carrying a holstered frying pan. McCleud says that PS was on a covert ops team but all the other members are on a long quarantine from their last mission, so has been assigned to us.

The camera pans in from an aerial view to Jessica’s home in the suburbs. We zoom into her dreams: she’s Spiderman in San Francisco. A raspy voice whispers “All this and more can be yours…” Jessica awakes!

Malik comes bearing donuts, which means the case isn’t one we’re going to like. But it’s right in DC.
Hollow Lake (12/2/2019)
Malik is called into the director’s office—Jean MacCleod re: forest fire. Very unhappy with covering for that, also the sample from the fungus we’d captured is inert. This next assignment seems almost like a punishment, “back to the basics”—Hollow Lake.
Attack of the Rapid Moss (11/25/2019)
Dr. Stillman gets a call from former grad student Irene Stolz, studying zoology. Her supervisor Dr. Cornwall is missing.

Darkness Falls (10/17/2019)
There is a radius of accidents that have happened that are in a circle around the town, always between 9pm-6am, on the roads that pass through the edges of the circle. Tanner’s End is in the center of the circle.

Three cars crashed last night around 9pm off Hwy 54 outside of Robinson, all drivers claimed fatigue. Two in nearby hospital, one wasn’t injured too bad, lives a town over. Were all passing through, crashed just before reaching bridge.
