The story of Jimmy, who got lucky with cards but unlucky with women. The sorry F. P. Rex, the kingpin who was always in charge until his estranged daughter showed up and put a bullet in him. The story of Josie the tough girl, who’s sister (that was dating Jimmy) was in jail and she had to pull a heist to get the money to get her out. The story of Polly, the weight lifter who drank all the milkshakes and wore a habit to do crime. The story told by four ladies in a hair salon. Not all of the stories fit together perfectly, but in the quantum timelines and realities we had some fun scenes, some goofy voices, and eventually contextualized “my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard” as a stand in for prohibition era hooch smuggling (the milk was the booze and the yard was the jail yard).
Discounting the alternative endings, I think we even followed the Hayes code, where our kingpin died in end.
