Judd and I are back and we’re trying a new game (well new to me), Liminal Horror.

In our spirit of just diving in, we started play and character creation at the same time. At 4:30 AM Judith Becker, federal rail inspector, got a call from her manager Lawrence Beltford letting her know that there was an incident at the Monolith, a Bureau building set along a rail stop that was once a cattle farm.

In play we rolled her stats (Strength: 12, Dexterity: 6, Control: 17, HP: 6) and learned that Judith doesn’t talk much, she has a horrible scar on her back from a spinal surgery, has tremors in her hands, and was previously involved with Bureau in an unspecified way. Her badge number is 2121.

No more rides for the Candleman. Make sure to sign the visitor log.

  • Red Stapler (in a containment room 1B) – grants the power to hit like a truck, but get hit just as hard in return.
  • Glasses (in a freezer in 1D) – If you look at someone, they’ll forget about you…as long as you’re looking at them.
  • A wax figurine (outside, of unknown purpose or capabilities)
  • Data tapes in AI hub (level 4)

  • Key card needed to operate the elevator (better than that of an agent)
